Default Long Beach Grand Prix

Anyone go? Anyway, I go every year and it's a blast every time. If you haven't been to this huge event, it's still going on tomorrow and I have a ticket if you'd like to buy it. Here's some of the pictures I was able to snap. Unfortunately, the fence was in the way of my shots which completely ruined them.

Not sure what channel

No Photo's Please!

I need this

These two were going at it for a good minute. Baseball guy won

Damn I love these m3's

cool pics nonetheless even with the fence in the way. I was there on Sat, but at a wedding. I could hear the F1 cars going by. I was like "man i want to be there"

I walked laps around the place trying to find fun places to hang out and watch. There was no way that I wanted to sit in the grandstands and watch the cars fly by down the straight. One of the first things I did was wonder past this security guard that was chatting to these ladies. I ended up outside in the dock areas where I found the wrecked 240

Some turbo 350z speed by into he garages right over here also.
I dont remember how I got over here..

This spot I found on my way out,its actually from the 5-6 story parking garage.

My favorite spot was a balcony overlooking turn 1.

I came back Sunday and was TIRED out and sunburned from Sat. I went to get a good spot at the balcony but it was completely blocked off for a private party (i guess), there was like 10 people up there with beach chairs and wine. i was pissed off and almost left but I had my straw beach hat so I started wondering around again..I couldnt leave, there was too much race gas in the air :bang:

I tried ground level for a while at turn 1

walking around more..I think this is Danica Patrick

I ended up finding this amazing spot where the cars would accelerate down this straight into a sharp right turn. the whole area was pretty much a narrow path you could walk along and there was no one around.
This is the turn, if you went to the GP you can probably tell where im talking about. It was basically in plain sight but not many people would find it because its not on the beaten path to the stands and whatnot.

its where I got all my favorite pictures and had the best time, you could almost touch the cars & SHADE FTW

now I hope you all dont cram in here next year *hug*
