Ok so I was removing the amplifier from my mom's car since she doesnt use it anymore. I did like the instructions said and took the negative/ground cord off the battery so the amp could be safe to remove. Now I am done and I put the negative cord back onto the battery and the car alarm goes off which means I reactivated the car alarm. But then I realized that my mom doesnt not have the remote alarm key so now I can't turn off the car alarm when I plug the battery back in. So now the car is undrivable until I firgure out how to deactivate the car alarm or just take it off fully.

Can anybody give my any help or suggestions on how to take off the factory alarm or deactivate it permanently?

Its a 2001 Honda Civic

 

if its factory alarm, put the key in the driver door and turn it and it should cut itself off

 

But I need it gone permanently, not to just turn it off for the moment

 

pull the fuse...sorry i forgot which one...but its under hood
