Spring Question...Among Others
Hello, looking to start modding the batmobile and am new to this so a lot of questions have arose. I have read most of the threads on here about what kind of springs people suggest running and am pretty much set on the Eibach Sportlines. My question is regarding to if I continue to run my stock si shocks/struts how well and long will they hold up? Also, would I need to buy a camber kit with just springs? Also, if I did end up having to go aftermarket with the shocks/struts I was looking at KYB. Any other suggestions would be great. After this is said and done HFP 18" wheels, HFP lip, and Magnaflow cat back. Then the waiting process begins for it to be payed off so I can go with forced induction. I appreciate all of the good posts on here and have really enjoyed being a member of this community thus far.

you will be fine running on stock struts, for probably 40,50k. i ran springs on my teg on stock struts, they had over 120k miles on them, and about 20k with springs and no problems.
the ride might be a little a bouncey tho. camber kit shouldnt be neccesarry. as long as u get an alignment after the springs settle to correct toe, and rotate tires every few thousand miles.

i think that on most cars the struts go bad so gradually that you don't notice it until they're really bad, meaning that you won't notice your struts going bad until they're completely done for.
as for the op, a camber kit is a good idea if you want to improve your handling, it's not necessary for tire wear though.
