correct me if im wrong but isnt there a sir style hood that fits on the usdm without the jdm conversion.

the sir is just like the usdm but the usdm has like a inverted area, and the sir has a raised area in the middle.

 

my friend has a jdm sir style hood that pop up the whole middle to make enough room for bigger motors.. I.E b18c b20z... They are made by fiberimages

 

and they fit on the usdm front with no modification?

vis does make a carbon fiber hood to fit the usdm front end. i know that ung auto can get them quickly. 281 880 9272.

surprisling very good......my friend just picked one up for his 97 civic the other day and the thing was bad-***......rolled edges.....perfect fit......just wish it didnt have the holes for the washer squitters.....o well......but YES a very good hood

 

i dont care about the rolled edges i care about quality the fiberimages wont crack if some *** desides to sit on it

 

i don't think anything cn protect you from that vis broke for my friends my fiber images cracked on my old accord, happens........

 

I've had two ViS hoods, they are very good quality. By the way, I'm selling my ViS hood for a 94+ Integ.

 

I have a Vis and it is still like new. I caught 3 ******** sitting on the hood of my car once and after scaring them away I inspected and the hood was fine. It's sort of flexible anyway.

 

I went to VIS site and looked up there C/F hood section....they had a OEM hood for a CRX now im not sure if thats USDM...with the dip in the middle...or if its JDM with the Raise in the middle....but they had um....

Can you put a SIR JDM hood on a Stock USDM front chassis.....will it match up with the headlights and front bumper???

 

no there will be a gap around the headlights and it sits forward more.....and since it bumps up the jdm hood dents easily thats why i want to get a CF hood so it will be more flexable but fiberimages doesnt make one ive seen mugenef7 sit on his hood with 2 girls also and it was fine his is a fiberimages sir style not real jdm one but for a usdm front

 

I got mine from VIS for $240. Good ****, but I won't have it for long because I'm trading my friend for his LS block.
