I've got a '99 integra coupe. I really don't like the red on red combination of my red car and my red tail lights. I feel it's like trying to match black on black...kind of looks good, but never quite right. I like my same tail lights on white or black tegs...but not on the red ones.

Does anyone have pics or suggestions on a nice pair of tail lights that will compliment my cars color? I don't want something like altezza's that are flashy and ricer...I like the sleeper look.

I was thinking of getting clear ones and then painting them myself...but still, I don't know what color or style. Any help would be great.

 

God this is a bad topic for the H-T crowd, but i know they do make tailights with black housings, that ive seen on black cars that look ok. Theres enough aesthetic honda pages on the net to entertain yourself for hours with. Google is the answer.

 

Yeah I was thinking along the lines of carbon fiber altezzas

Not a big fan of altezza's here, nor is the general public here, but the CF ones I've seen on a black car looked alright, and not as disturbing as typical tezzas.

I agree w/ you tho, red on red doesn't have much contrast.. if you want to be orginal you might want to try smoking the red area?

 

I think the carbon fiber altezzas look good on white, black or red cars...I am actually looking for some OEM 98-2000 tails, if you want to trade for my carbon fiber ones I am down..let me know..

I've seen my taillights on cars like yours, and they look pretty nice.

Ever seen the taillights on an Australian Type R? It might be on all Integras there..I don't know. Anyway, I think there taillights are all red like the 98+ with the exception of the turn signals and reverse lights being white. It is not much difference, but it might be just enough to satisfy you.

Correct me if I'm wrong about the Australian lights thing.
