Default B series 4wd

I was recently thinking of buiding a track car with a b motor, like an eg or ek. Ive got a gsr motor sittin in the barn waiting to be tuned. I'd like to go turbo, high rpm, high comp, high displacement and of course high octane(about 118). The main new idea for this build is 4wd. I was thinking about the crv, how it has the same block config, could i use a realtime awd system and attach to by b series? Maybe i could just get the CRV diff and use the tranfsercase and shaft and rear axle? i dont know but i thought i saw someone build an awd integra rally car somewhere in sportcompact mag or something(B powered). would it be easier to use the B20 and convert it to vtech? what about clutch and flywheel apps? Could the system even handle huge amount of power anyway? I'm sure i could find a way to run the shaft and rear axle. I know this is all crazy, but any one have any thoughts as to other possible problems with setup? If it is possible to do, i probably will. with 4wd Id like to put 500+ whp and use it on road course.

I think that it would be something good to try. I had a 95 integera with B20 VTEC before although it was easy, it did not last. I wanted to do it with an 94-01 integera four door or a 92-00 civic four door. I know that some of the CRV's come with a five speed transmission. That will make it easier for the clutch and flywheel applications. My concerns about it were the rear differential, driveshaft, and rear axel configuration. If I had the money, I would really do it. it would be a EVO and STI killer

because I believe it was a 91 honda wagon that came with an AWD feature. A couple people have adapted trans and rear diff to their setups. The key with that is that wagon came with a dseries engine hence a dseries transmission. I suppose a crv config would work as well but its definitely not as install friendly as the honda wagon swap

He made no mention of using the Wagovan drivetrain. He stated that he planned on using the CRV stuff. And the D2B has been done. ETD Racing built one (yes, only 1) a while back. It's doable.

Yes i belive the rear subframe is causing problems with the mod. I am also new to the forum and missed these discussions. I will search for them. thanks for the input. I also thought about rotating honda motors transversely and use the right and left output shafts as front and rear into some differentials. this would have to be mid-engine mounted. Any way this will take lots of planning and research, probably some years, but the goal is to create something never used before, ever!

if you use a B20 with tranny it is already 4wd and you can use the rear set-up out of the cr-v as weel therefore all you would need is to get a drive shaft made to fit and worry about the body mods...... in theory..... and you could always do a B20 vtec turbo later
