97 dx civic hatch d16y7 failed smog co % levels only
went and smogged my dx hatch today and failed.
smog tech said it wasn't the cat
don't know what it could be
any information would help.

Too much carbon. Try giving it a fuel system cleaning and drive it HARD before you take it in next time. You were very close to passing.
