How to remove A/C

How do i remove the A/C in my hatch? What is involved in removing it? Do i have to cap anything off etc?

Not another one of these threads. There is too many. OP, the search button is your friend. And please tell me you're not removing it for weight reduction.

No, its not for weight reduction. Its broken and i am going to upgrade my turbo setup so i need the extra room.

Keep in mind that it is illegal to vent the refrigerant into the atmosphere, so if that is something that matters to you, go to a dealership or service center and have them drain it for you.. or you can just crack it open and stand back...
