Hey does anyone know any companies that sell ek front end conversions for delsols or any tricks to put the front end on? Do I need to customize evrything or what?

 

yeah it fits aslong as you change your radiator suppport..... an everything should fit in place an its gonna need a little bit of body work on the fenders

actually a eg coupe that already did it and a sol that wanted to do it like a week ago both made threads

you gotta weld the front of the ek fender to the back half of the eg fender

R u sure about the radiator supports because my girlfriend has an ek and I've hade both r noses off and they look the same... actually hers was smashed and I used the style of mine to bed it back... I've heard that I need to weld the fenders but that's what I didn't want to do lol... body work sucks

 

my guy did an ek front end on his del sol all he did was got a new radiator support of the ek an then the fenders match the holes an the bumper when in like nothing the only part you gotta do body work is by the strip line that goes on the middle of the fender

 

Oh ok I see what your sayin do you know anyone that's got some parts for me then cause I really wanna get started on this and don't wanna search for parts for the next 6 months lol

 

If you want the fenders and doors to look right together, you have to take the EK fenders and del Sol fenders and cut them in exactly the right places and then weld them together in exactly the right place. Otherwise you'll end up with the body line on the doors not continuing to the fenders like they are suppose to.

 

what did he do to make the hood hinges work and line it up to the fenders and head lights?

 

i already in the process of doing this ek conversion on the del sol. my only set back is a grinder and a welder.. thats it but other then that this is a hard project but very fun to do.
