Default vtec problems

I've done a search, and i know i can't be the only one that ever experienced this problem.

Problem: Sometimes while coming out of a turn, either be hard or soft, vtec will not engage. My thoughts are that it maybe has to do with low oil, or shifting of oil, causing oil pressure to be so low that vtec does not engage, its going to the acura dealership on Sat. and i was trying to clarify this so they don't tell me "we didn't find anything wrong"

Any help is greatly appreciated.
