replaced battery and now turnsignals dont work
they broke in stole my radio & my BATTERY.... WHO THE **** STEALS CAR BATTERIES? I bought a new one & I think I put the wrong connection on first... is it positive or negative first? anyway now my turn signals dont work, headlights and everything else work. I checked fuses under dash all good. under the hood, all good. what am i missing? could I have blown a relay? if so where is it so I can change it? WHEW thats a mouthful!
I cant tell cuz when they stole my radio they took the bezel & ripped the hazard switch out. this just started today & ive been taking my battery out everynight so they dont take it again.

The reason why you have to remove the ground first and put it last is because when you're removing the positive you could short it to ground with your wrench. If you remove the negative first, then even if you touch any metal on the car with your wrench there won't be any connection to the battery through which current can flow (in other words no short). Shorting the battery in your car is not good. It could create a spark which can ignite any flamable gas.
For the same reason you put the negative last.
Ill check out the hazard light switch does anyone know where the relays I would be looking for are. the bulbs themselves are fine, the indicator inside doesnt work along with the lights
just get a hazard switch put in and then try it.
and yeah if you haven't figured it out by now ronj is right like always your turn signals won't work if the hazard switch isn't plugged in.
Aight peeps! HAHAHA I gotta new switch & my hazards work but my turn signals still dont work
( When I hit the factory key locks by remote the turnsignals blink but not when I use the turnsignal switch... sorry if its confusing

Look at the diagram. A Yel/Blk wire connects fuse 12 to the hazard switch. Turn the key to ON(II) and use a voltmeter to check whether you measure battery voltage at the hazard switch for this wire.
