Well ive wired this a cd player up three times now and im still getting static is this a common problem with civics? I have a jensen 7" indash dvd/cd player model number vm9412. When im stopped at a light the static gets better but when im moving its horrible. With or without the antenna being pulled up. I checked the antenna where it connects to at the cd player and where it plugs into under the left side kick panel and then runs up to the antenna any ideas?

I dunno man. I leave my antenna down all the time and I get little or no static. Depends on the station. Might be the H.U. I've never been a fan of Jensen. I always run Alpine and never have problems.

 

its brand new its done it in both my civics but different head units i dunno i guess i take it somewhere?

 

how much do places charge to wire up a cd player?

 

its the unit jensen units are known for static problems
