how can u tell obd1 and obd2
what part are you trying to figure out? if your looking at a swap look at the numbers stamped on the head. thats usually a good way to tell what year it was made in, and by that you can figure out the OBD stuff.
to determine the ecu it should state on the ecu and the difference between harness's is obd1 harness has to plugs for your distributor obd2 only has one..since you dont specify what your looking for
Look at the ecu plugs.....if they are gray colored only and only two rows left to right of pins....OBD1. FYI, there is also OBD2a and OBD2b.....more info...courtesy of my friend Katman....
