Does the D16Y8 oil pan fit on a D16Y7

Does the aluminum oil pan from a D16Y8 fit on to the D16Y7

Well the aluminum Y8 pan bolted up ok to the Y7 and seemed to seal good around the oil pump and rear main. I assumed the two oil pick up's were the same, I just left the Y7 oil pick up on and installed the Y8 pan over it.

The blocks are the same part#, the oil strainer is the same part#, and the oil pump is the same part#, so I would assume you're golden.
