okay so im kinda stuck and cant find this information anywhere. so here is whats going on. i have a Greddy 18G kit on my GSR, and i want to upgrade to a 20G turbo. i found a "20g turbo td-06 greddy trust" is this a straight bolt on to my B series Greddy Cast manifold? what flange is my greddy mani? t3? t25? also i know this 20G turbo is a 3 bolt hotside flange, and looks like its external. can i switch over my 18G parts to make it work? LMK sorry if i sound stupid, need help/info lmk asap, i currently have the greddy 18g turbo kit on my GSR.

 

The GReddy/Trust turbo setups that are on the bolt on Honda kits are a Mitsubishi/Garrett hybrid. The fact that TD05H or TD06 Simply describes the compressor cover used. The turbine side is a T2 (T25) based turbine housing that uses a 5 bolt flange exactly like is used from the GT28RS and GT2871R,GT2071R Internal gate setups. the 20G is actually a compressor wheel, and not the entire turbo in your case. The actual mistubishi 20Gs that you see on DSMs use an entirely different turbine housing. Do not use those as a basis.

In other words, in order to upgrade your TD05H-18G to accept a 20G wheel, it must be sent out to a Mitsubishi distributor that can take the 20G 44lbs/min wheel and install it into the housing. While they're at it, they should upgrade the wastegate and flapper door on that turbo as well, since upgrading wheels alone are not going to help with your power problem. We're not even going to get into the Downpipe restriction.

 

I guess I just entered in the same boat I bought a 20G turbo with mitsubishi housing that I think is too big for my D16, so I'm trying to search if I can change it with something smaller.

I found on ebay somebody sells a 20G td06 with T25 exhaust housing, but cant find any info on that ..

what did you end up doing ?
