I swapped in a JDM B18C and was wondering if there is a way to tell what year my motor is? Is there a number anywhere or a code to tell em this? Thanks

 

its on the head, where the header connects.

there will be like 4 stamps.
the first one is the year.

 

thats what i was thinking... there is 4 stamps like wierd stamps with lines going through them and 2 numbers. then the last stamp has 3 dash marks above that. do you know what all the stamps mean so i can "decode" them.

 

yup, the first stamp is the year. so the two numbers will determine the year of the motor.

 

yeah but what are the other stamps for just for my knowledge?
