I was wondering if there was a good shop in this area who does jdm front end conversions. I had seen a car with it from Concept racing. Does anybody know if they are respectable or if there is a place that is. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks alot for all your help.

Contact Compete Autobody in Arlingotn, TX. They do good work but they aren't cheap. I'll try to post up contact information to them later on.

 

I have been to Complete but i didn't really like them because they sell remakes. My brother got a carbon fiber hood from there which was supposed to be VIS but instead, Complete made a hood after the VIS hood and it looked like ***. Plus if i get the front end I want to get factory Honda parts.

 

You can order a jdm front online from many different places. To find the right shop near you try going to http://www.bodyshops.com .

 

Go there and check out the PY DC2 with the JDM conversion and tell me if the work on that car is good or not.

I'm not sure on your experience with the hood but the orginal question was about the conversion.

ok, just went by goodson acura on the ole lunch break.

bobby isnt gonna be in for 2 months (!). while leaving i saw a bunch of workers taking a smoke break so i went to talk with them about it. they confirmed that he'll be out for 2 months. about the front end.. one guy said bobby had it done at his dads shop. sweet!

also.. i was talking with one guy about the rsx-s and dude said theres a rsx typeR coming as a $5000 package? He rattled off the list of features, but didnt know too much about specifics... like if it came with an lsd, brembos, etc. I asked if its the real deal type r like in japan and he said yes. i dont know. it was more of a 'salesmens yes' (look up in the corner of the eyes type..."umm..yeaa, i think... yes, it is.")

man thats some gay ****. not that i was getting all excited for an R, but what happends when someone goes for it? When they see their new "type R" is that when the salesmen tells them,

[keys being handed to new car owner]
"ohh yea.. and its not really a type R........ we just said that so youd buy it.

 

What does he do there? Everytime that I have seen him, he has been in a shirt and tie. I've seen him twice at the same gas staion but I have never gotten the chance to stop by and say hello.
