Icon6 Need help 96 civic Ex

My stock motor in my 96 civic went out on me and I swap a new Motor in my car and use the same automatic transmission which was working perfectly fine before I took out the motor. Now the car is running again but the green light on my cluster for drive (D) is is flashing.
My friends say that it because I'm don't have any transmission fluid that why it cause the light to flash but I do have enough fluid and the other problem I have is that each time when I put it on drive or reverse the motor kick really hard and when I'm driving the motor kick really hard on 1st and 2nd gear. I thought that I have a bad mount but I check all my mounts and they all check out good.

If anyone who experience this before or know what is wrong with my car I sure would like you advise or help. Thanks

Hey, my advice to you is call up body shops mechanic shops ect.. and ask them if they have a scanner. You hook it up to the cars computer and it tells you exactly whats wrong with it. Its really cool=]]

Did you reconnect all of the AT solenoids? Use the jumper wire method on the service connector to pull the transmission code(s). It's the same as pulling CEL codes.
