Eric is a nice guy, but I got flamed on a trade with him last summer. He's not the most honest guy out there, but I believe he feels bad for what he did to me, and would like to make things right, he just hasn't yet 'cause I haven't talked to him forever or bugged him about making things right.

Heh, maybe I shoulda been more specific. I gave him the full carpeting and floormat set from a complete 2000 ITR interior I bought (installed the seats and armrest in my EK). He was supposed to send me some parts off an EK9 front clip a friend of his dad's supposedly imported to the US to sell the drivetrain out of. He mentioned being able to get me the cluster, strut bar, pedals, steering wheel, and other various stuff and that I could have my pick. I never got anything. After repeated e-mails and calls with him replying that he never got the mats and carpeting I sent him, I finally gave up. UPS showed that the items had been delivered and signed for at his house.

Late last year he got in contact with me after I purchased a wrecked 2000 ITR saying he wanted the shocks and springs off of it from me in exchange for some CTR parts for real this time. He said he felt really bad about how he had lied to me before and that he never really had any of those CTR parts before, but he did have some available to him now. He said he was sorry for lying and saying that he never rec'd the carpeting and floormats, 'cause he had them and was enjoying them. I told him I'd happily hook him up with the shocks/springs for some CTR parts, but that he would have to ship first this time, then when I rec'd them I would ship his stuff out to him. Well, he said he shipped them USPS priority, but forgot to get the delivery confirmation #. Then a few days later he started demanding that I send out the shocks/springs. I told him I'd have to wait until the ek9 pedals and other stuff he supposedly sent out got to me. He was very angry and said I was trying to rip him off, but guess what, I never received *ANY* package from him, and realizing he was just trying to scam me again, I never sent him the shocks/springs. Ended up selling the rears to Jerome Soh, at sohfast.com and using the front shocks on my EK.

Anyone that knows him can probably tell you if he is sporting ITR mats or not, and whether he has new-looking ITR carpet in his Integra.

That was my experience with him, and I'd love to be re-paid or hooked up in some way. I haven't forgotten that I was screwed over, and lied to. I would hate for someone to go through the same experience I had with Eric.

 

He does have a *DOPE **** car though. to him for how clean his ride is, and his knowledge of Hondas in general.

Nope, I know who you are and you know exactly who I am. I'm not bitter about what happened anymore. I was living in Maryland at the time and that's where I shipped you the stuff out from. Then you got in touch with me on the phone and via e-mail after I moved here to Utah.

Just wanted you to know I haven't forgotten about what happened between us, and I'd still appreciate a sincere apology and to get something in exchange for the stuff I gave you fo' free!

You used to work at BBK, now you're working at some financial/mortgage place I think 'cause I e-mailed you back and forth a few times at your new job after BBK. I think I still have your address and home phone # around somewhere on my home computer. Don't worry, I'm not pissed or about retaliation or anything.

You have a great rep on this site, and lotsa friends. I don't know anyone hardly, and I'm not trying diss you in any way. Just posting what happened, and letting you know I'd love closure on what happened...

He got the carpeting and mats from me right around the same time he had his car painted. He was in a hurry to get the stuff from me so he could have the carpeting put in at the same time his car was apart to get painted.

Why would I make up a story so completely random as this is? What I said is what happened, and he may be embarassed enough about it to deny it to all the people who think highly of him. I'm sure he's a great guy, and a good friend to have. I'd even love to have his friendship 'cause we share such similar interests, I just need some resolution.
