I have a 94 honda civic hatchback that i drive almost daily and on long trips only my oil light comes on the levels are find and i was wondering maybe if the oil light would come on as an oil temp light also or how to see if the sender was bad any help would be nice but if ur just going to flame me about not knowing as much as you move on to the next one please

 

When that Light come on its "Supposed" to mean low oil pressure. not over heated oil or any of that. so this means either ur oil pump is getting weak or the oil pressure sensor is going bad. and I'm not sure how to test that. I'd get one from the junkyard and pocket it and see if it fixes it. if not try changing the oil and doing a motor flush if its dirty engine. or change the oil pump to be on the safe side.
