Recaro into 4G Civic - rail/runner help please
I have recently bought some Evo IV Recaro seats (same as the Speed/ITR seats)
Im having trouble fabricating a base to mount the seat to, then the runners to. i can see what needs to be done, but on the inside rail (closest to centre of car) there isnt enough room, and you cant get a bolt in to bolt the rails/base to the seat itself
has anyone else fitted Recaro's to there 4G civic? if so, have you got some pics of your rail brackets please
this is doing my head in!
remember CRX arent the same as 4G civic, which is a shame, as CRX ones would be easier to sort out i think
ive also looked for Recaro rails, but can only find them for the CRX, and they are $200 a side!!!
any help appreciated.
thanks
marc

ill get some pics in a minute
my old man decided to take the wooden template frame apart ffs!!!
the green areas are where the front two bolts of the seat need to bolt to, but as you can see on the inside, the runner is in the way, so no way of fixed it to the seat (when its made out of metal)
the purple area is where the seat can be slide to, but still no room. i cant slide it anymore over to the door, as the door will squash the seat.

the green dots are where the OEM seat mounts to the runners... (roughly)

hope that makes sense lol
its properly really simple, but ive been staring at it far too long, and its stressing me out
