hey guys I been thinkin of getting a fuel pressure regulator for my civic, I know they don't make fuel rails for the 7th gen but will a fuel pressure regulator help?

 

a fpr will not help you performance wise whatsoever.

If you have converted to a return style fuel system (from returnless) and are running boost then you will see its help in that you won't lean out but the stock fuel system can take nearly 300whp before you run into fuel shortage problems.

 

The only time you'd truly need a fuel pressure regulator, is on a fuel system that has a return line going back to the fuel tank. The stock D17 won't have that, since fuel pressure is ECU controlled.

 

^fuel pressure is not ecu controlled, it is static on these cars. the ecu counts on the pressure being consistent under all conditions.

 

I was a bit tired when I was on last night. You are correct. I think I was referring to the injectors, but either way I was wrong.
