Back Fire?

Icon6 Back Fire?

I have a 91SI with a Z6 in it, a few days ago it started to acted up when tha cars on it runs nice but when I give it gas it will start to back fire form the intake and if I try to drive it want rev higher than 4th rpm and it will try to turn off. My comp is thoughing code 7 they told me thats the TPS I already chaged it and still does tha same thing I also don't have my O2 hooked up. I 4-1 header, intake, aem fuel rail, catback I don't know if that will help thanks..

make sure the you tps is reading the right amount volts when it open and closed hook up the o2 sen cause that why it back fires cause you computer is dumping to much fuel and it not being burt correctly. the computer is in limp mode

check your cam timing... if its off a tooth it can cause backfires out the intake.

the cam timing, and also take a look at the valves/seats too.
