well my friend was interested in building his d16z6
kinda setup he wants is basicly

oem bigger injectors (what u recomend?)
pm7 pistons
a bigger cam (what u recomend?)
anyone have a similar setup?
what tranny should he use aswell?

pm7 pistonsid rather run PG6 pistons with the vavle reliefs cleareanced a very small amount

thanx thought id have to upgrade injectors cause of the CR
and it was between the pg6 and the pm7s he kinda wants to run high 11 to 12.1 CR
just saw the zex cam sound good but i dont think he wants to upgrade the valve train so i think he might go with the 59100

nope stockers go to 200hp easily. as for the pistons, the PG6's sit zero deck so its a better starting platform, however Nippon p29s sit zero deck also but thats about 14:1 CR. Just mill about .02" off the head and your good to go. And you dont need to upgrade retainers, just springs. They are cheap and well worth it to run the bigger cam

well there are alots of options for the cam gears. AEM, Rage, UR, Bisimoto, Venom ect ect. They all do the same thing but the best one IMO is the evolution/bisi piece. 2 piece design, its very nice but expensive. The 50 dollar AEM would do just fine. As for the header, depends on his cash again. But id say just take a look at an ebay header with a 2in collector or mod the collector. If you have cash to spend, ASP makes a DAMN good header but its quite pricey.

no problem. make sure the head recieves a good valve job and some porting from someone who knows what they are doing wouldnt hurt either if the money is there. I think with just the basics listed above and a good vavle job you'd be looking at around mid 130's-140hp. more with headwork and a bigger cam
