Default Distributor clarification: Will it work or not?

Here's what I have:

-96 spec B18B (OBD2a)
-distributor from the motor listed directly above
-91 Integra, currently OBD0, but planning on converting to OBD1

Instead of buying an OBD1 distributor, how can I run the OBD2a unit that I have? Remember, I would like to convert my operation to OBD1.

OBD2a distributor will work just fine with OBD1. Won't work with OBD0. All you need to do is ensure the plugs match so you can plug it in. Nothing else needs to be done.
