Looking good. Ha did you have your friend cut your roof up cause you didn't want to do it? I get nervous at work drilling holes for spoilers and they aren't even my cars.

No I actually started cutting and he finished off the front of the car...it was pretty nerve wrecking at first but I got over it once I started cutting!

there looks to be a few issues with rust, the hatch bracket and the windshield area.

the windshield area, you must remove the glass and grind down to the metal and replace any metal that is needed. new glass can be reinstalled and any glass shop in any city town has supplies to add new weatherstripping.

side note, how or what or who did you did you use to remove the glass from the doner top without breaking it or without risk of breaking it.

thats a lot of clamps...I would have used maybe half of those and used strips of wood to clamp evenly across.

This is me and what I think. I would love to have the glass top ONLY if the car came with it stock.

I might try that with the next part...it never occurred to me to try it the way you just mentioned it!

Lucky for us you don't have to click on it if you don't want to!

I would have too...but I figured why not...it's my car and I always wanted a Glasstop without my car being RHD.

are you worried about rust from the bare metal on that rear brace you just sealed on?
or does the sealer cover the entire area?
im paranoid about rust

I ground down all the metal as far as I possibly could. The Fusor 108B actually has a rust sealer as well...and I was pretty liberal with it! So hopefully it does not become an issue...I don't plan on selling this car. I've owned for 8 years now, and I plan on holding on to it for a long time...if it becomes an issue later on down the road then it will be addressed.
