Default Reliable traction bars for $250>

I'm replacing a traction bar on my crx and looking for the cheapest but reliable. I Found some cheap ones on ebay but want to see what else is out there for under $250.

Here are some cheap ones I found so far:

Cheapest I encountered
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-90...3A1|240%3A1318

Some other
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA...3A1|240%3A1318

I was more interested in this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CIVIC...3A1|240%3A1318

Any suggestions for a traction bar?
Negative comments on all the cheap ones so far.

Edit: Suggestions from HT

New edition ETD traction bar $300-$315 <-- Stuck with this one
Innovative mounts bar $300 -$330
Avid bar $300- $325
Competition bars
JimFab if can be found
Prostreet

Don't cheap out on a traction bar dude, i know from personal experience. My "cheap" one broke recently (i won't mention the brand) and luckily i made it home without it coming all the way apart. I took mine off and added braces and rewelded it so i don't think it will ever be a problem again, but it could have been disaster. Spend the extra and get a good one and forget about it.

What he say. Also, all three of the above are of the same design.

Agreed^ I am aiming for reliability but at the same time saving $$$. I checked out the innovative mount. Is it a bolt on?

Any suggestions for a traction bar?

It seems like a quality piece. I dont think it will come apart. The problem i have with it is, No jacking point to lift both tires at the same time, Crappy ground clearance on the ends of the bar.

There are several threads on here detailing which traction bars are quality pieces and which are not. I don't wanna beat a dead horse on issues with non quality ones, especially when the manufacturer of the one i have has corrected the issues and now actually has a pretty nice bar for the price.

+1

I wouldn't cheap out, or else you'll end up just buying another one when it snaps.

Think it would be ok to buy a cheap one and add braces and reinforcement?

Personally I would buy a good one and only have to buy it once. Instead of spending 150 bucks on a cheap one every 3 months. You get what you pay for in my book.

I was looking around for a Jimfab. I might stick with ETD. Looks fair for the price.

Going cheap on a traction bar for EF's is incredibly stupid. Do you realize that if it breaks, there is no longer anything keeping you front wheels in place? What if it breaks while your @ 60+ mph? Good chance of the car pulling straight off the road into something hard. Either stay stock, modify for clearance(safely) or spend money on something that won't kill you.
