Default Latest addition to my collection. 1984 Accord LX.

Picked up this beauty on Friday.













The tranny is slipping pretty bad but other then that its a clean running car. and it great shape IMO.





Oh btw. did i mention i paid $160 for it?

See 3geez.com, in the 2nd gen section they have info on putting the 2nd gen Prelude or 3rd gen Accord motors in. They bolt in. The 88 89 Accord 120 hp motor I always wanted to put in a 84 85 Accord. You have to convert to fuel injection to do this.

That's my thinking!


I found a couple trannies locally for around $200 because this one is slipping bad and its not just low on fluid.

Yesterday we started deep cleaning the interior. Underneath one of the seats we found a half smoked joint so the whole interior is getting cleaned with ammonia and armor all carpet cleaner.

I priced out transmissions and the local yard wants $250 plus core exchange so here soon I'll swap out the bad transmission and get this beast back on the road!

5 speed swap!!!! Put an A18A1 or ET2 transmission in it from a Prelude, you'll love it!!
