i have a 1990 civic si hatch

my brake issue is that i hit the brakes and it takes for ever for my car to stop, i'll have to push real hard just for it to slow down.

i bled the brakes still the same. is it the brake booster or master cylinder problem?

what can i do? and what kinda oem upgrades would you suggest?

I was planning to bump up to an itr or da master cylinder

 

drums in the rear? i bet they are completely shot. i had to do mine, and its still didnt have full pedal. come to find out, both front calipers were seized on the self adjusting screws.

 

Did you get air in the lines? Do you need to pump the brakes to get the car to stop at all?

 

i'll push the pedal all the way down and it feels like it doesnt "eat"

 

Are you bleeding the brakes in the right sequence?

 

i bet you caliper up from r shot upgrade to the 90 93 integra hubs and brakes .i bought a brake hone and a rebuild kit for 40 bucks

 

checked out the calipers looked fine. brake pads still had meat.
iono what could be.
