Default sanding primer

So i have painted the fenders. I sanded them down with 220 and sprated them with a high build primer. Now that they are dry, it still looks like i can see the previous sanding lines. What is the next best grit to go to and should i do it wet or dry? also, after that should i spray another primer coat? then my base?

thanks

IF the primer did it's job and you layed it on right then you should be able to sand out those scratches with some 400 or 500. Once that is done you can lay your base down, if you sand through to the metal you need to lay a coat of sealer first.

should have used like 320 before you sprayed the primer. But like the other guy said hit it with like 500-600 wet until the scratches are gone
