looking for a rear inspire trunk for a 2008 accord, it has the reflectors that the u.s. spec accord doesnt have , anyone know where i can find this at??

 

They aren't only reflectors, they are rear fog lamps. You'd need to wire the set up. Which i understand isn't that difficult. this mod's been done before here. You DO have to get the parts from a source/dealer in Japan or Australia.

There are a few sellers on eBay that will get the parts for you

 

okay and for the front is the inspire front end different like the bumper and fogs?

if you gonna to both trunk and nose you should try and get the side mirrors as well.

 

I am pretty sure college hills Honda can get you the parts. give them a jingle

 

does the 2009 inspire headlights have different headlights than the 2009 accord? they seem to be different to me

 

yea.. clear lens on the side, thats it i think

 

yea but there still the bug eye lights from the accord, no idea why Honda did that when the coupes lights look great.

 

the coupes lights do look slimmer than the sedans, but the sedan is the inspire not the coupe, i also dont understand why honda didnt bring hid lights into the us spec accord or the wood trim interior or the side mirrors with lights on them.

 

they like to keep there cool stuff for them self's, aka Civic TypeR's and ASIMO.

 

I don't think the really need the whole trunk, maybe just the filler panel

 

There was a user from DriveAccord.net that installed this onto the trunk of his car. There were some modifications that needed to be done in order to get the lights on the back to fit correctly. In the post I have the sites available for you.

^thanks for the info,so does that package on the website include the trunk lid and everything? these are rear fogs arnt they? i would need to find a place to have everything wired up correctly, also does that website carry the front end including headlights and also side power folding inspire mirrors??

 

From what the site detail about the package, it includes the Trunk Garnish and Fog/Reflectors. The Garnish on the trunk is removable and easy to access so you wouldn't need the whole trunk. I was not able to find the power folding mirrors or the front end, I was able to find it from Ebay quite sometime ago. You'll have to do a search on Ebay or google to see if there is a seller or retailer that has the item available.

OP... the inspire trunk is completely different, the internal sheet metal has holes for the light integration... you would need to drill out your trunk if you decide to use it as a base for this upgrade

actually yes, its not the trunk that i found but the garnish and rear lights in the website mentioned above, so i would need to modify the trunk a little bit like drill out where the lights go, im gona get it done at a tuner shop in the future and street lightz can prob get the front end and power folding mirrors for me
