First my setup:
B18C 9:1, ACT X 6puck, 9lb flywheel, skunk coils w/ tokiko blues, T3/T4 turbo.
With 22x9x13 slicks @10psi my best 60ft so far is 2.0.

What the hell is my problem? I tried launching at 5k, 6k, 7k and revving to
spool the turbo, but the same shitty 60ft. Is the lightened flywheel hurting my 60ft? Someone help me out here...

 

How fast are you releasing the clutch?

 

Dropping the clutch and flooring it.

 

It could be the rubber compond is warped due to age. Who makes these slicks?

 

Well, without know track conditions and whether wheelspin is an issue. What helped me is riding the clutch a bit. Once you feel the car "catching up" with the engine, then fully release the clutch. Just an idea...

 

I feel some lag off the launch.
I'm assuming 2 things to be causes:
1. lightened flywheel
2. fmu dumping to much fuel when I floor it. Untuned.

M&H slicks

 

3000-4000 rpm 2 step.

Also you might have too much clutch for the way YOU are launching. The 6 puck hits and just boils the tires off. Soften the launch or soften the slicks.

1.816 on 20x8x14 slicks with a SOHC on spray.
