when i start my car i hear a clunk and a vibration when it first starts up. And it also vibrates when i am shifting. Any ideas as to what it could be?

 

how does the clutch feel when you shift?

 

well the cluch feels somewhat ok it is a new clutch. the car just feels weird when i drive it because the engine when im shifting will move and will feel like a motor mount nut is loose or something and you feel and hear as if the engine has movement but the mounts all look good.

 

Check your motor mounts. My car used to shake a bit and it was my motor mounts. Wouldn't hurt to check yours.

 

what if they dont look bad or ripped? could it be the bolts holding them as well? because it feels like its either the front or the rear of the engine. it feels as like a motor mount was not bolted in or something but its not that shaky on idle.
