Default Advantages of P72 with Hondata ?

Hello,

I am finally deciding to take the plunge and invest in a Hondata system again.

I am running a GSR engine with some parts, currently n/a with plans for nitrous. I still have the GSR intake manifold and prefer to keep active IABs as they do help a bit down low. The question is whether installing the S300 system into a P72 ecu would be worth a damn versus a P28.

I really want to keep a spare ECU so I plan to buy the ECU and Hondata from one of the HT vendors as a package but don't really want to spend the extra $$ it takes to get the P72 (P28 is cheaper). My question:

Is there any advantage to running a P72 ecu on a GSR engine versus the P28 ? Does the presence of the knock board and IAB control give any extra features when paired with an S300 or will a P28 have all the features ?

The P28 does not have knock control and also will not control the secondary runners. The P72 can do both of these.
