you can make it yourself. a mill is all you need.

 

We do build flanges 1 and 2 at a time. I would like to buy them 5-10 at a time.

Yeah! all you need is a $15,000 mill and about $300-$400 in tooling for it and you can make the $40-$50 flange yourself. lol! :-)

I can make as many as you need, let me know if you are still having troubles finding them, or getting one to you pronto.

 

if your on a budget you can use a freakin hole saw and a band saw to make a throttle body flange. you dont need a boring head and all the milling equipment if you take your time and know what your doing. and judging by the website he listed in his sig, i assumed he had a mill.

your making a killing if your charging 40-50 for a tb flange, haha.

Hole saws and drills FTW, I make most of my stuff here on a drill press.

 

I guess thats why I can get $40-$50 for mine. I make mine with the mill, so all sides of the flange are straight, and have a clean milled finish (not saw cut). I use a corner rounding end mill on the corners, do all the drilling and tapping in the mill so they are perfect and straight, then I either bore the hole in the mill or with a 4 jaw chuck in the lathe and make a PERFECT ROUND, PRECISION bore. Then surface them in the mill with a fly cutter. Now if you make a flange of that quality, and you don't get at least $40-$50 for it you are cheating yourself. I used to make and sell the hell out of Q45 t.b. flanges and those are nothing more than a 4"x4"x1/2" with a 90mm bore, and 4 tapped holes (no idle control port)
I sold those for $36 all day long, when I quit selling them another guy was selling them for $90ea.

nope, just a manual 3 axis (all three power feed, and a DRO) I'm getting pretty good at turning two handles at once though ;-) lol. Lots of people think I have a CNC because I mill my logo into my parts...it do it all manually.

We can make them ourselves , but the time is takes to build 1 or 2 at a time is not cost effective.
I figured if someone already makes them I would buy there's , I buy head flanges 10 at a time as it's cheaper than building them myself.

All of my stuff is straight too, a mill is certainly easier but not the only way.

I want a bridgeport SO badly though, all those onesies-twosies wouldn't be such a problem lol

 

we have a bridgeport and you can do just about anything with it. such a solid machine. the older you get, the better it seems like. but yeah not everything requires a mill like rota mentioned, just takes more time.
