Why is that all you experts forget 92/93 B17 GSR came with a PR3 Head?
Also the PR3-1, -2, -3, and -4 dash numbers have no correlation to the year cast, only the line they were produced on.

really because all the older heads i have seen like 1992 to 1994 was like Pr3-1 or 3-2 and the b16 in the 1999 and 2000 si was like Pr3-3 and Pr 3-4
You'll notice that there were no "experts" who commented on that part of the question.
as you can see...

yeah that does make sence i did more searching and the casting numbers and the years have nothing to do with each other it has more to to with the port sizes and ITR and CTR has stronger springs and i think the 98 spec has something with the intake valves...
The port sizes are all the same since they were all from the same PR3 head casting. None of those casting numbers were specific to the ITR/CTR head so you can't tell what the head was from by the PR3- whatever, casting number. Those numbers did not correlate to any specific valvetrain or cams either, it was strictly a head casting type only.
Yes, they just pulled a head from the production line and gave it some minor bowl cleanup and a valve job, then the valvetrain and it became a CTR/ITR head essentially. All the other heads were regular production for the B16a's and B17a's a long time ago.
