J's Racing Carbon Canard...
the J's Canard will fit the EG EK and DC
same part number for all three
they dont fit completely flush but are damn close that it probably wont matter

I'm 99.9% sure the J's canards are made by First Molding/CRUX; they are actually available in 3 different sizes, so you can "stagger" them if you want.

can you actually feel a difference with the canards and winglets on the front of the car? i know mike at ips has them, and i believe n1-r did as well, any 1st hand experience? thanks

here's a pic of mine...
this last one was when i test fitted it and you can see the masking tape
not sure if i can "feel" the J's canard working but i know my ARC splitters kind of pull my ITR lip down after driving. i can see the line between the lip and bumper when i get off the car and have to push it back up. *shrug*
This pic has me thinking. You could angle the ARC splitter (or any other splitter) towards the front wheels and use it to cool the brakes...what do you think?

the J's Racing carbon canard for EK and DC are different. The EK one is smaller than the DC one. Also, the DC one is made for JDM front ends, so the fitment is not as good as the curvature doesn't follow the bumper's curvature as closely. Another problem in putting on any canard onto a USDM front end is the the corner lights. When we were test fitting the canards on USDM ITRs, it was almost impossible to not cover a bit of the corner light, which looks really weird.
the canards shouldn't be confused with the front ARC winglets.... the canards are the diagonal pieces along the side of the bumper where as the winglets are are little fins on the bottom of the lip.
there is a substantial difference with the canards. the increase in front downforce is extremely noticeable. the car feels more planted and stable. with the canards, the car does not bounce as much going over bumps at high speed as the suspension settles quicker. on corners, the increase in stability and traction is very noticeable, especially on bumpy roads. without the canards, on a bumpy corner, the car would feel light, not that grippy, and not turning in as the car seems to be bouncing around... but with the canards, it's opposite... loads of grip and stability and turn in response is sharper

actually the fitmint on the USDM front end is pretty damn good. it curves around the front bumper nicely and the mounting points line up evenly against the bumper with VERY little covering the corner lamp. seeing the lamp isn't an issue at all.
Tommy_Gunns - never thought about the brake cooling idea. nice thought bro, but it's kind of hard to angle the ARC splitter to that degree with out it sticking from the front. customizing one would yield better fitment and the angle you want. afterall, its just plastic

That ARC splitter is so sweet. Are those the ARC winglets in the pic?
Rockwilda, sweet car man!

Dammit Jonathan, look what you started...now there are two (2) more things to add to my shopping list

BTW, there may be a CHEAPER alternative; this company called Charge Speed in Osaka sells what looks like an ABS plastic version of the canard (+ an ARC type splitter):

rockwilda: the canards you have on are actually for EK... the JDM DC2 ones are much bigger... if you try to mount the canards at a higher angle, ie. 30-45 degrees, then you will have the fitment and corner light problem
TW00Si: the winglets are universal to a certain point... you could mount them on any car but it just depends how they will match... same with the canards
kengs: as you probably know, many people in Japan use plastic or aluminum canards as well, to reduce the cost.
We'll be getting a plastic canard made up pretty soon for those that are interested.
