What are some nice brand/model rims for a CRX that fit the bolt patterns and offset nicely that are moderatly cheap. Also what color rims do you think would go with a gunmetal-bluish colored crx? Thank you.
can't go wrong w/ stock honda wheels..wheels from the 99-00 si are nice, GSR wheels from all years are nice, LS wheels are nice. rota slips are cheap..400 for a set w/out tires..

Thanks man. Also what looks nice on a crx? I was thinkin about goin 15" , but all the 15x6.5" i can find are +40 offset, and the 16x7 are +45 offest. Also what does the x7 mean, etc? Thank you.

Also, check out www.edgeracing.com and look at the Flik Apex. Got mine for $406 shipped, I think they're pretty sweet...they're still knock-offs, but not as common. I have them in the Carbon color - it's actually a much lighter color in person, perfect on a red car.

Yea the Flik Apex were the ones i was lookin at thise morning. Also the Rota Slipstreams are nice. What color would look good on my car. My car is a metallic grey-bluish color. I was thinkin either black or gunmetal is what i like.
I actually like knock offs. In one of those people who wear clothes cause their comfy not cause their brand name. haha anyways.
For a 91 CRX HF, the offset, does it have to be +45 or can i get +40? I dont understand what offest means? Also how do i tell what kind of tires to get without rubbing!?
Tsunami: Post those pics up bro!

Well, they only make the Apex's in two colors...Hypersilver, or something like that, looks like highly polished aluminum...and Carbon, which looks like black in the pics on the website, but in real life is much lighter. Got any pics of your car from the side?
As for offset, anything below +40 will probably rub. With 15's, if you get 6.5 width, you'll be fine with a 195 section width tire, but a 205 (Azenis for example) may be a little too wide and could rub.
However, if you go 16", you'd want to look for +43 - +45, and then you'd run a 205 section width tire and not rub.

Oh, and I don't remember the technical explanation for offset...something having to do with how far the center of the wheel is located from the outside edge of the rim. Go to www.tirerack.com and look in the glossary. They've got it in there.
Basically, with a higher offset, the tire and wheel are located closer to the center of the car and more underneath the fender. A lower offset = deep dish rims (RWD cars), or those Nissan Sentra's from 1990 with the wheels that are out like two feet from the car.
Hope that helps!

I think i will go with the 15's, hmm but maybe teh 16's. What do you think? Ill prolly go 15" tho just for the price, and i like 15"
i always loved the 94-95 gsrs
i got that on my ride to but keep in mind that it weighs 16lbs
my vote will be for the konig heliums (looks like the curcuit 8s)
15's, 45 offset and get this 10.xx lbs
theres a guy in vancouver selling then for $150 or less each
visit his site, i think its pdm.com or pdm racing.com

Don't get 16's, i had some Enkei TBS 11's on my car before and they didn't look bad. But they were too big for the car, unless you're gonna get a body kit for it.
