Hello I was wondering what kind of foam material the 97 civic seats made out of and do you know if there treated with mildue (sp) n odor resistant cause i have a set of civic seats i plan on ripping apart to use as insulation in my hatch.. thanks for the help

Foam, [unless closed cell] should not be used as insulation as it will retain moisture.

I wanted to insulate the rear quarter panel... I was just wondering if they treated with some type of chemical to protect it from water and moisture, if not imma go for some type of protection to spray on and use it to insulate the rear quarter panel where the panel is hollow

That is not a good idea, anything like that will keep moisture up against the sheet metal and rusting will become a real problem. 94
