clutch break in
i was wondering what the best way to break in a new clutch is i would assume normal driving for 500 miles would be the best but i heard some other methods of break in that dont sound right but who knows
yeah i got ****ed once and was stuck on the I90 up to wisconsin and was stuck in stop go 2 days after i put her in 1st gear over and over and over. did a number but she ended up find after a few days of babying
yeah everyone i know that has done a clutch break in always drives atleast 500 miles of just city driving....i learned my lesson i only gave mine like a 250 mile break in and it lasted about 2 months...needless to say i was pissed but learned my lesson 800 dollars later
yea because someone told me that you should break it in like you normally drive and my normal driving is hard driving if you know what i mean and that just didnt seem rite to me. i want to make sure i break mine in rite so i dont end up paying for it later
well my sure fire way to break in my clutches is my CX has a shift light so i follow that religiously. and dont do huge down shifts. and any clutch will break in nice and good with that

I've never broke a clutch in. They're all fine. Be easy on riding the clutch and be easy on it for a little while.
My winter ride i overheated the stock clutch. all you can smell is the clutch. But Shifting it at redline for 3 months straight i guess didn't hurt it.
