hey guys sorry i wasnt more specific in the title.. here is my issue:

Im trying to help my buddy swap a usdm b16a2 into his 97 ek hatch.. his hatch harness has a 3 wire plug for the crank position sensor and the b16a2 has a 2 wire crank position sensor.. can i use the CKF bypass trick to fix this? or can 2 of the 3 wires on the harness be wires to the 2 wires on the sensor and the 3rd wire be left out completely?

yes you can do the ckf bypass or aswell change it over to 2 wire
