I just picked up my Type R not even a week ago and its a very clean one. Today we are having REALLY bad storms and hail in the range from marble to ping pong to baseball size! I stood with a huge panel of wood and blocked the incoming hail, it stung a little but no damage!! The sound was incredible....still waiting to see the outcome of my EK race car.





Priorities are strait, LOL.

LOL, yeah i probably would have, i was getting hit anyways...lol, how i would have done it, i dont know, but i also had a trash can i could have used as well!

Damn, I am in NC and we had some of that bad weather as well, tornados and ****. A little hail but not like that. I was at work and park so I can see my caR from the front windows. I was scared that my caR might get blown away and all I could do is watch.

 

Living in the midwest i know about hail. When hail that size hits its not pretty. Good looking out.

Garages FTW! I was driving home a few summers ago and got hit by a freak hail storm... My friend sat in amazement as I had a freakin mental breakdown about having the R in hail... it was very much not damaged by it. This is also the R that never goes out in any wet weather! haha

for future reference, you can use blankets instead... and stay warm inside. that's what I did.
