Default Y8 manifolds vs idle

OK - it's been YEARS since I've had this motor running, but I finally got it going again last night... and was instantly reminded of the low idle problem I never fixed.

ECU is a virgin P28. (no CEL light or codes)
I own both the auto and manual Y8 intake manifold, but I'm using the one from the manual.
Manual has holes drilled in the back for the IACV.

During warm up as well as when the engine is completely warmed up, I have a LOW idle. During warm up it sits at about 400~500 and eventually warms up to about 600.

Personally, I think it's the IACV, but maybe FITV?
Any thoughts or recommendations on things I should check?

Not yet, but I was figuring that it should atleast bump up a bit by itself until it has warmed up, right?

Fairly sure it's a manual tranny Y8 TB. I had always planned on a larger bore teg TB, so I bascially sourced this thing long ago and threw it on there. Thinking I should probably check the bypass ports inside and make sure they aren't clogged.

If it's an auto one it'll look like this:

Note the thing on the bottom.

i cant remember but i thought the y8 doesnt have the fitv, so maybe you just need to adjust your idle up?

Definitely not an auto Y8, but thanks for the pic!

Thanks 93 - I believe you are correct about the FITV. I'll have to double check the TB I have in the car, but you sparked my memory about OBDII code controlling idle without FITV. I have hoses running around on the bottom side of the TB and I was assuming it was a FITV... hoping it's not there!

That seemed to take care of it.
THANK YOU 93formula!

I wasn't able to adjust it much. I nearly took the screw out and it barely did anything, but it did enough. I now have a solid 700 idle on the warmed up engine.

Took it for a spin around the block and got grew blue/white clouds of smoke when I took off from stops. I guess that's from 5 year old gas in the tank? I HOPE it is.
