what should be the best setting with the FMAX turbo kit with AEM cam gears. i know it has to be retarded, but which is the best setting done to make the most power for a daily driver? thanks

go bring it to a dyno and get it tuned. That's the only way you will find out.

 

thanks for the imput, just curious if any turbo ludes had cam gears with good setting that wored out ok, the dyno here charges close to 40 an hour.

 

every engine is going to be different dude, esp. with a turbo. go get 2 hours worth of dyno time and you'll never have to do it again unless you make a drastic change.

 

40/hr is cheap as hell. i hear 0 /0 is good

 

every setup is different... so you have to get yours tuned to your own specifications.

 

40 an hour is like robbing the dyno shop. that is beyond cheap. if you go there and dyno it...id say only one hour, maybe you could gain 5-10hp which is a lot of hp for 40 bucks. dont think of it as a loss of 40 bucks...its like buying a go fast good...Mike
