Default JDM Access aero mirror covers?

Ricer confession. I buy alot of crap off Ebay and there is a vendor Speed Shop Online that always has rare, new EF parts for ridiculous prices. They had these aero mirror covers, can't remember if they called it that, for $500 that I was saving to buy when I came across a better deal and got'em. Once I got'em I installed them wrong and can't find any info about them. Anyone have any info? Do they really help aerodynamics? How many horsepower? (jk)

it doesnt help with aero at all...mainly just a flashy cover for the mirrors that keeps the rain off

dude, those aren't going to give you any horsepower! they might help help aero dynamics a little but probabyly not enough to make a difference with anything.

They are oem factory as an option, they are rare and over priced. I've seen them go for $250, but couldn't bring myself to pay that much for 2 plastic covers.

Also, take note, that in Japan, there are 2 styled and shaped mirrors, so the cover may not fit all mirrors properly.

- one style was both a power fold mirror, with power adjustment. These mirrors did have a different shape slightly because of the power folding feature, and were much heavier with metal mounting frames

- the other style was like usdm, but they were a power mirror, and did fold in, but manually, there was no motor to move the mirror in and out

Thank you Deetz! That's the kind of info I wanted. Everbody else thanks for your input as well.

I was thinking they help airflow. I got the antennae and wiper delete too. It's like I want a stock CRX aero thing going on.
