big mess please help!!
so i bought a crx dx and decided to pick up on sumones project n got more than i wanted....it is supposedly wired for mpfi and has a obd1 flip harness?? never heard of it...i have a p06 ecu under dash with obd1 plugs for it then through the firewall it goes to the harness where he wired obd1 dizzy plugs and obd1 injector plugs into a obd0 harness ne idea y??? i am tryin to swap in a 91 b18a1 wich is an obd0 motor i am confused......so i went and bought a plain obd0 harness to try and jus make it all obd0 but i noticed it is wired different than the crx is i dont think its a crx harness i bought... so im tryin to trace wire n its a big mess sumone plz help
Well you have to realize also that since the CRX DX came stock with the DPFI if you bought a MPFI OBD0 harness it will NOT plug into the underdash harness. If you use the current harness that was in the car when you bought it, you just have to buy a obd1 dizzy and injectors and ECU. p06 will not sufficiently run a LS motor. If you are swapping over to obd0 you will need a PR4 ECU as well as a OBD0 (round plugs) dizzy.
The guy probably orginally has a conversion harness to go from OBD0 to OBD1, which also requires a jumper harness for the distributor plugs. That is if he didnt cut the plugs off and just manually rewire them lol.

Dude here is the best advice ever. Sell me the car for $200 and buy a new one that has not had stuff messed up on it yet. If you want the car back after I fix it I would gladly sell it back to you.
its already wired for obd1, so you can run your 91 b18 on obd1 all you have to do is use the obd1 dist, 4 wire 02 and a obd1 ecu, the p06 may even run it temporarily.
or you can rip it all out, and start the wiring from scratch, but my suggestion is to just run it in obd1.

ok thanx guys im gonna try and use the harness he gave me it has the dizzy plugs manually wired into it lol kinda scary....but i noticed it is missing sum plugs the 3 sensors on the back of the block i only have the sinle wire one the 2 wire connector isnt there n neither is the green plug...n one more ? if i run obd1 injectors i do not need a resistor box correct??
yea thats correct.. the green plug is not needed. the 2 wire connector has to be extended and ran to the thermo housing plug if not already.. the single wire1 not sure of.. but my car runs fine without it with no cel. lol
so the 2 wire connection that really doesnt have a plug on the back of the block can be eliminated its like 2 wires with a rubber boot over the connection on each one.....
one more ? under my dash is the obd0 to obd1 harness it has the 3 plugs for the ecu and there is an extra 6 wires that are layin there i was told it is if i wanna run a h or f series motor is this true??
