Default NZ JDM ITR build: Updated

Ok so i thought i might aswell put my build thread up on here for everybody to comment on.I will update this thread as I move a long with the buid. First i will start with some pics from when i first purchased the car October 2008. It was in ok condition with dirty seats and a rather dirty engine bay. It was also in stock form with an aftermarket intake pipe, filter, vtec contoller, shift light, muffler and gauges.
Pics in the above condition:

Dirty engine bay:

Oil change stuff:

The goal for this ITR is to have it relatively stock in appearance with the only real change being the suspension. In terms of power I will be re-building the engine (more on that later) with at very least 200whp and the interior will be pretty much stock.
So in the last 5 months of ownership I have done the following:

Fixed and installed factory spoiler
Cleaned recaros
Removed Gizzmo vtec controller
Removed Gizzmo shift light
Installed factory intake pipe and filter box (Spoon filter)
Installed CTR throttle cable
Removed Pillar mounted gauges and installed gauge surround with gauges
Removed TypeR stickers (they were old, might get new ones)
Started wire tuck (have tucked drivers side at this point in time)
Removed A/C
Purchased all parts for battery re-location
Installed full AN/Braided fuel lines and B16a3 alloy fuel rail
Purchased full size twin core radiator and 12” slim fan (will install when I have some new hoses)
Installed Spoon socks, Spoon rear strut brace, Spoon radiator cap
Pics in its current state (stickers since been removed):

Exterior:

Engine Bay:

Fuel set-up:

So that it is for now. Any questions welcome. Chur!

^ x2 the wing helps complete it, in my opinion. Nice progress.

Weld in a cage and tarmac rally it! I wish we had those here in the states.

Thank you for the positive comments people. Hopefully get stuck in soon and start the battery re-location.

Topshot: I won't be going that full on but i will be taking it on the track for a blast now and again for sure.

Ok, mini update... I have started purchasing stuff for the engine build, just a cambelt change kit at this stage, just looking into what head gasket to run with (maybe buddyclub) and i have decided what cams etc i will roll with. Also put the battery in the boot now so engine bay is slowly getting tidier although i still have to re-locate the fusebox which i will do when i tuck the passenger side wiring. Also just put in an air horn which will help in my moments of rage!

Cambelt stuff:

Gauges is cluster surround:

Engine bay at current:

12" fan that will be mounted to the alloy radiator:

At the moment i am trying to save money for some bigger items (headers, cams, cam gears, muffler etc) so i am trying to do all the stuff that is not costing much to kill some time so i don't get bored.

And when taking the battery and stand out i had a bit of a clean around their and it looks asthough battery acid has eaten all the paint away so when the motor gets pulled at some stage that will all get sprayed down with the rest of the bay, hoping to get a few of the obvious bolt holes welded up too.

Well done! After seeing the first couple pics I had a negative opinion, but once I read what you changed, so did my opinion. No more pillar gauges, no more fugly intake, and the OEM wing make it a different caR! Liking what I see! Keep up the good work!

Haha yeah it was a bit average when i got it but it was a damn good price and i knew i could tidy it myself. Next on the list is to get rid of the nasty cheap muffler with some form of JDM system. Either a J's test pipe and JDM muffler or a complete JDM off the shelf system.
