I just completed replacing the starter on my 96 EX 4 cyl vtec at. Wow, that was a tight fit removing that bottom bolt, but I got it done and it works.

Now, I have a NEW problem. After starting the car back up, the check engine light is now on. I drove to Auto Zone for the diagnosis and was told it is something to do with my speed control sensor.

Speedometer works - odometer works - cruise control works.

My question:

Is there something I could have knocked loose to cause this when I was replacing the starter? It was a tight fit in there, so I am guessing this must be what happened. Was hoping some of you much more experienced than myself can tell me what I may have done and what I need to do to fix it.
