What are the indications of a cracked ring land? Does anyone have any pictures?

 

smoking out of the valve cover, car running like ****, excessive crankcase pressure. what do you need a picture for. It looks like a piston, with part of the land missing

 

I was just looking for the indications when it first cracks. You know the little subtle signs when it first happens. Things you only notice when you accelerate to merge onto the highway or try to pass at highway speeds.
