Does the Vtec oil sensor need to be hooked up? I just got my car back and noticed that there are no wires hooked up to it. Would this cause running problems like stalling at certain rpms?

 

No, if it is disabled in the software, it will not cause a CEL and vtec to stop working. Stalling at certain RPMs is tuning/base idle problem.

Is it stalling on deceleration? I had that problem, like when you come to a stop and press in the clutch. I have a lightened flywheel and all I had to do is bump up the iac duty.

 

Does it on acceleration. Soon as I hit 2000rpm once its warm. Doesn't matter if I get to 2k fast or slow. I have 40psi fuel pressure the entire time. Its like the injectors stop. But only does it after the engine warms up to like 165F
